The Music Pathways Project (TMPP), based at the University of Toronto Scarborough, is a research-informed initiative responding to the disconnect between outdated perceptions of music careers and the realities of a rapidly evolving music industry.

 

TMPP grew out of classroom experiences and student inquiries that revealed a significant gap: students, families, and even educators often lack access to clear, up-to-date information about viable music-related career pathways and resources, especially those that connect directly to the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum documents that shape our local context.
